Redmi K60 are flagships with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Gen 2

The Redmi brand introduced 2 smartphones from the new line. They will run any modern games.

Redmi K60 was presented on December 27 in China. The lineup included the standard version and Pro. They have the same display – OLED with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 1,400 nits. This will allow you to use your smartphone on sunny days.

Most of all, we are glad that top-end chipsets are under the hood – Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 for the regular Redmi K60 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Pro. The amount of memory looks similar – 8/12/16 GB of RAM and 128/256/512 GB of ROM, but the devil is in the details. You see, while the standard version has LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1, the Pro has all LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0. It turns out that when choosing a gaming device, you should give preference to the second one.

With batteries, the Redmi K60 series is also interesting – while a regular smartphone has 5,500 mAh with 67 W fast charging, the Redmi K60 Pro has 5,000 mAh, but with 120 W charging.

Both devices come with Android 13 pre-installed, which will prevent downloading games from bypassing Google Play, especially in the hands of an ordinary user who is afraid of the word “root”. The cameras are great:

  • 64 + 8 + 2 Mp rear and 16 Mp front in Redmi K60;
  • 50 + 8 + 2 Mp rear and 16 Mp front in Redmi K60.

Sony worked on the lenses, so they can be freely used for high-quality photos.

Price and availability of Redmi K60

  • Redmi K60 8 + 128 GB — 336 Euro (359 USD);
  • Redmi K60 Pro 8 + 128 GB – 444 Euro (474 USD).

You can buy these smartphones from December 31 in China.
